Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Knexlabs website and, where no separate licence applies, free software supplied through it. If you do not agree, do not use the website or software. A separate written agreement or product licence takes precedence for the services or software it specifically covers.

Use the website and software lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, distribute malicious material or misuse our contact form. Only submit or process content you are entitled to use. You remain responsible for your files, permissions and decisions made using the software’s output.

Knexlabs and its licensors retain rights in their website content, branding and software. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; displaying a platform name does not itself imply a partnership or endorsement. Free availability does not mean open source, transfer ownership, or grant permission to redistribute, resell or rebrand the software. Any separate licence and third-party notices supplied with a download also apply.

Free software, including OptiPic, is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no express or implied warranty, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every system or file, error-free results, or continued updates and support.

Keep backups and original images before processing. Test output before relying on it, particularly where compression, format conversion, resizing or metadata removal can alter a file. Do not use the software as your only copy or recovery mechanism for important files.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Knexlabs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, business interruption, or loss or corruption of data arising from use of the website or free software. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Website descriptions are general information, not a commitment to a specific scope, delivery date or outcome. Submitting an enquiry does not create a project agreement. Paid services, subscriptions and products such as KnexPublish are subject to the applicable quotation, order, licence or separate agreement.

Links may lead to third-party websites or delivery services. We do not control their content, availability or practices. Download software only from sources we identify, follow your operating system’s security guidance and review any accompanying notices. See our Privacy Policy for website cookies and analytics.
