Privacy Policy
How we handle enquiries, website analytics and cookies—and how our free image tool fits into that.

Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Knexlabs handles information through this website and its contact form. Contact us at hello@knexlabs.com with privacy questions. Separately supplied services or products may have additional privacy terms.
Information we receive
When you contact us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company, phone number and project enquiry. Please do not submit passwords, payment details, confidential customer records or sensitive personal information through the form.
Our hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, timestamps and error or security logs. The enquiry endpoint uses short-lived request counters to help prevent abuse.
How we use information
We use enquiry details to respond, clarify requirements and communicate about potential work. Technical information helps us deliver and secure the website, investigate errors and prevent spam. Website analytics helps us understand which content is useful and improve navigation. We do not intentionally send contact-form contents, email addresses or phone numbers as analytics event parameters.
Cookies and Google Analytics
The live website uses Google Analytics 4. It loads automatically without a consent prompt. It can use first-party cookies, including cookies named _ga and _ga_…, to distinguish browsers and measure visits. These identifiers are not the same as anonymous data.
Measurements can include pages and page titles, referring sources, device and browser information, approximate location and interactions. We measure successful enquiry submissions, OptiPic download-link clicks, and email and phone-link clicks. A download click does not confirm installation. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag configuration.
Cookie lifetimes depend on Google Analytics settings and browser behavior; the main analytics cookie can persist for up to two years and may be renewed on later visits. Analytics record retention is controlled separately by the property’s settings.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking analytics does not prevent contact enquiries or downloads. Learn more about Google’s processing of information from partner sites and Google cookies.
Providers and information sharing
We use infrastructure providers to host and deliver the website, Google for analytics, and ZeptoMail to deliver contact enquiries and any enabled acknowledgement emails. These providers process information needed for their services and may process it outside your country. Their own privacy terms also apply. We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our services and users.
Retention and security
Enquiries may remain in our business mailbox and related correspondence while needed to respond, manage a business relationship or meet applicable obligations. Retention varies with the purpose and service provider; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for all records. Contact us to ask about a particular enquiry or request deletion.
We take reasonable precautions, but no website, email transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
OptiPic and local files
OptiPic is designed to compress, convert and resize images locally on your Windows computer, without uploading those images to this website for processing. Website analytics and download-link measurements are separate from desktop image processing. This policy does not assert that your operating system or third-party download infrastructure collects no technical information.
Your requests and policy updates
Contact hello@knexlabs.com to request access, correction or deletion of enquiry information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity; requests are subject to applicable rights and retention obligations. We will update this page when our practices change and show the revised date above.
